Sony to Showcase PS3 at Taipei Game Show 2006?

An article in the Chinese-language Commercial Times seems to think so. After initially announcing it at last year's E3, and some footage at TGS 2005, PS3's first appearance could be next week at the Taipei Game Show (TGS) 2006, which takes place between February 16-20. Sony's exhibit will occupy a total of 80 booths, including 20 booths allocated exclusively to the PS3. The unveiling could be a countermove against Microsoft's Xbox 360 launch in Taiwan, which starts March 16, 2006.
